How are you working to make the open-air shopping environment more attractive to consumers?
Hill Partners focuses on weaving our projects into the fabric of the community through a combination of initiatives including keeping the merchandising plans fresh with new retailers, restaurants, and other synergistic uses such as specialty fitness uses, services and entertainment uses. While the COVID-19 pandemic delivered some challenges for most industries, it did have a silver lining for some of our properties such as weeding out weaker retailers, and opening attractive spaces for retailers like Sephora, lululemon, Locesac, and Athleta to name a few. Additionally, we continue to invest in place-making programs to provide outdoor living room spaces for people to engage, unwind, and enjoy face-to-face conversations again with friends.
